About Puerto Escondido

Puerto Escondido is located on the pacific coast in the state of Oaxaca, 500 miles from Mexico city and 180 miles from Oaxaca city, capital of the state. The city is accessible by plane or driving.

Puerto Escondido is famous for its beautiful and natural landscapes and for its beaches like Zicatela, where many international surf competitions take place in November. The bay "principal" offers you good restaurants with national and international food, it's also a good place for sport fishing. The bay of Puerto Angelito is the perfect beach to eat the best seafoods of the Pacific Ocean. Manzanillo bay where you can do snorkling and finally the nice bay of Carrizalillo where it's safe to swim and where you can take surf lessons.
